Accessibility statement

I want everyone to be able to browse this site, see the work and get in touch, including people with disabilities. This page explains what I did to make the site accessible, what is still limited, and how to reach me if something doesn’t work for you.

Standard

The site was built to meet Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, Level AA, and follows WCAG 2.1 Level AA where possible. It was checked with automated testing and by hand, with a keyboard, on desktop and on mobile.

What was done

• The whole site can be used with a keyboard, with a clear focus outline.
• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page.
• Clear page structure, with headings, landmarks and labeled menus for screen readers.
• Text descriptions for images, and a written title for every video.
• Text colors with enough contrast against their background.
• The site works on phones and tablets and can be zoomed up to 200%.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the videos in the gallery don’t play automatically.
• An accessibility menu (the round button in the bottom left corner) with larger text, high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font and a switch that stops all videos and motion.

Known limitations

• Some portfolio pieces are designs that include text inside the image. Each one has a short description, but the full text in the design is not written out.
• The portfolio videos are short visual showcases and don’t have captions or audio description.

If you need any of this content in another way, write to me and I’ll be happy to help.
